Terms of Purchase

By placing your order, you are deemed to have understood, consented and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions:

 

ORDERS AND PAYMENT
 

Orders must be paid in full via bank transfer or secure credit card payment, prior to delivery. Display Table orders must be paid for seven (7) days prior to the event date. Box and Platter orders must be paid for by 6:00 pm the night prior to delivery to be confirmed at the quoted price, as we need to confirm our next day's delivery run and send to recipients, prior to 7:00 pm.

If the payment confirmation is received after 6:00 pm the day prior to delivery, an additional $15 is payable as we will need to undertake two delivery runs.

In the event that a particular timeframe is requested, an additional $15 is payable, as we will need to customise our delivery run to suit.

CANCELLATIONS


For Box & Platter orders, cancellations can be made up to 8:00 pm the day prior to delivery, for a full refund. For Display Table orders, cancellations can be made up to 48 hours prior to the event date & time, for a full refund. Any cancellations after this time are not entitled to a refund.

DELIVERY

Pick-up is not available. Box & Platter delivery is free to the 98 suburbs on the Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne's South East listed at www.wholesomefoodie.com.au/deliveryarea. Delivery to suburbs not listed will incur a delivery fee, which will need to be quoted and paid in full by 6:00 pm, the day prior to delivery. To request a quote, contact us here.

In the event that a particular timeframe is requested for Box/Platter delivery (between 8 am and 12 pm, or between 4 pm and 8 pm), an additional $15 is payable, as we will need to customise our delivery run to suit.

There are two delivery timeframes for Box & Platter deliveries, 8 am - 12 pm or 4 pm - 8 pm. The person ordering will receive a text message the night prior with a one-hour timeframe where they can expect delivery, and another text once delivery is made. In the case that no one is home, the delivery will be left in a shady spot before a phone call is made to the orderer to notify them of the updated situation. It is the responsibility of the orderer to notify the recipient of the location of the delivery in the case that these two parties are not the same person.

CONSUMPTION / NON-LIABILITY FOR RISK

All products with refrigeration must be consumed within one (1) day of delivery. Without refrigeration, all products must be consumed within three (2) hours from the time of delivery, pursuant to existing government rules and regulations. 

Consumption of any products beyond the aforementioned period shall be at the consumer's own risk.

Wholesome Foodie and it's representatives shall not be liable for any resulting damage, injury or sickness whatsoever, whether remote or proximate, for failure to consume provided products within the aforementioned period, or for the customer’s failure to take health, safety and hygienic measures in the consumption and handling thereof.
